Annual workshop of the Animal Health & Greenhouse Gas Emissions Intensity Network
The Animal health and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Intensity Network of the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases aims to bring together researchers from across the world to investigate links and synergies between efforts to reduce animal disease and possible GHG mitigation through disease control.
The second annual Network workshop will be held on Sunday 15th March 2015 (full day event) in the margins of Climate-Smart Agriculture 2015 Global Science Conference at Le Corum, Montpellier, France.
The workshop will bring together relevant researchers (e.g. animal scientists, veterinary scientists, epidemiologists, economists, GHG researchers) and research funders to develop international links, share information on current research and discuss opportunities to build upon this research, and identify data requirements and expertise needed to progress work on animal health and GHG's.
For further information on the Network, please see the report of the first workshop
